High School winter retreat logistics

Logistics

 

Friday

We will be meeting @ Mountain View Fellowship (MVF) at 3:15pm Friday January 12th.  We will be leaving promptly at 3:30pm from (MVF).

 

We will NOT stop on our way up for Dinner – we will eat dinner once we arrive.  Once we’ve arrived in Eden we will be starting our night off right by having a Worship Night – there will be no skiing the first night!  Our weekend will consist of skiing, winter games, endless hot chocolate, teaching from the Scripture (Theme: “Cast Your Stone”), and lots of hanging out with friends! 

 

Saturday

Morning Devo’s happening every morning with some personal quiet time for everyone.  We’ll then be heading off to Snow Basin for a day of skiing on the slopes.  We will provide packed lunches for the day and will meet up together @ the lodge to eat together.  For those not skiing, we will provide games and a great hangout time!  After a fun day on the slopes we will then head back to the Big House and have dinner & our nightly session of Worship & Teaching!  Talent Show Night!!!

 

Sunday

The day will start with a morning devotional from one of our leaders and then we’ll eat breakfast together.  After breakfast we will spend some time in our personal quiet times with Jesus!  Sunday afternoon will be hangout & relaxing time for everyone playing games and fellowshipping together.  Sunday night we will hit the slopes again @ Powder Mountain.  Session #5 when we return with a full amount of worship!

 

Monday

Monday we will wake up to a great breakfast & clean up and pack before leaving.  Then we will have a great time of sharing what the Lord has taught us this weekend with others!  We will be back @ (MVF) at 1:30pm on Monday January 15th.
